Daybreak rider, Stephanie Von Bidder, is a classically trained hunter, jumper and equitation rider. She has 20+ years instruction under such grand prix pros as Joe Fargis, Darren Graziano, and Greek and Pat Neff. She spent her junior years primarily riding transitioning ex-racers to the show ring. This unique experience has given her insight into the minds of young, learning horses, and the ability to cope with older, 'difficult' horses that may need re-schooling. Stephanie continues to expand her knowledge everyday, working with other reputable professionals, and participating in clinics. Stephanie also enjoys judging schooling horse shows and is currently working on obtaining her judges license.

Trainer Stephanie von Bidder and The Senator made a clean sweep of the Open Hunter division on Friday bringing home the Championship. They finished up the day with a 3rd Place paycheck in the $1000 Open Hunter Stake.
Sunday morning, junior rider Caroline Bower and The Senator earned Championship Tri-Colors in theChildren's Hunter Division and finished off the day with a third placefinish in the $250 Children's Hunter Stake

To Daybreak Farm & Laurie Mills on Shenanigans most recent success. 'Rio' earned championship tri-colors his last three times out - beginning his winning streak at the Conyers and Aiken Fall Classics and then at the PSJ Medal Finals Horse Show. Accumulating the highest number of 2nd Year Green Points, Shenanigans finished
5th Overall PSJ Green Hunter.
To Caroline Bower on qualifying and participating in PSJ Junior Medal Finals! Caroline qualified with only a handfull of horse shows on borrowed mounts, and competed on Ricardo, a horse she had only ridden in one previous show. Special thanks to Nancy Smith and Linzee Whitaker.
To Katherine McDowell and trainer, Elizabeth Grove, on a 4th Place Junior Medal finish. Katherine teamed up with Ladies Man in April of 2006 when she purchased him from Daybreak Farm and TG Tobey. Special thanks to Pam McDowell on having faith in this 'big boy'! It is such a pleasure for us to see one of our horses go on to such success.
